New Report Times for IPD and NIPD pairings

As a reminder, the report times for all IPD (“TI”) and NIPD (“NTI”) sequences will change effective with the December bid month.

The report time for an IPD sequence will decrease to 75 minutes (1 hour, 15 minutes) before departure – both at sequence origination and after RON.

The report time for an NIPD sequence will decrease to 60 minutes (1 hour) before departure – both at sequence origination and after RON.

What does this mean for IPD pre-flight briefings?

Since the report time for IPD sequences is decreasing by 15 minutes, it’ll be more important than ever for the pre-flight briefings to be efficient and expeditious. To assist you, the PHL and CLT Flight Service teams are developing International Pre-Flight Briefing Points that Pursers (CSDs) can use when conducting a briefing.

The International Pre-Flight Briefing Points will be communicated in the coming days.

If you’re flying an IPD sequence, please ensure you sign-in (check-in) 75 minutes before departure and report to the briefing room no later than 70 minutes before departure as position assignments will be the top agenda item and will also be completed 70 minutes before departure. 

When will “FOI” (Flight Attendant/Full Operational Integration) occur?

While we don’t have an exact date just yet, the current project timelines indicate that we will achieve FOI in 2nd quarter 2017. To reach FOI, several things have to happen including the migration of legacy US Airways Flight Attendants into FOS – the legacy American crews system.
