NRTP Roadshow
 
As we begin entering the closing of 2015 and the upcoming changes for 2016 in benefits and policy, the Company and Union teams are on the road. This is the current schedule:
 
Employee Travel/ Human Resources will be in Charlotte on September 23 and 24 the times and places are as follows: 

• Wednesday, September 23, 2015 C Crew Room 5:30pm-7:30pm
• Thursday, September 24, 2015 C Crew Room 7:00am-10:00am and D Crew Room 2:30pm-6:30pm 

Cari Ulrich and Sarah Jantz will be there to answer questions about the upcoming change of employee travel and the change over from CatCrew to Jetnet and Non-Revenue Travel Planner (NRTP). 

New to US Airways, employees are able to add up to 12 “buddies” whether they are extended family or friends. When those guests travel – it deducts from an employee’s annual allotment of 16 one-way passes to be used for D3 travel. While the employee has to create a flight listing for the buddy pass traveler, the buddy pass traveler can check-in on their own (using a self-service device) unless the employee elects to restrict the buddy pass traveler from doing so. In that case, the actual employee must check their buddy pass traveler in using NRTP.

The Company benefits team will be at the Charlotte Airport in the B-11 Conference Room on September 29  from 9-5 and at the airport hangar  September 30 5:30am-9:30am & 3:00pm-6:00pm,. Fidelity and 401(k) 

We are changing plans here as well and changing investments is open from September 15- October 15, 2015.

During this special investment decision election window, you can choose your investments on the special election website www.aa401kplan.com for both your account balances and future contributions.

Vacation Bidding

We are still bidding under screen 14 in Catcrew. Since I had personally not had time to look or bid for myself, I would like to thank fellow Charlotte Flight Attendant Steven Tarczali for giving me a well needed lesson. Rather than just bid a start and end date of month and day, the year must be added as well. Example I always bid a March vacation and I would previously bid 0319 end 0302 and say I wanted 7 days. Now that same bid on screen 14 would be 031916 end date 030216 7 days. I am personally bidding a week of my 2015 earned vacation in 2017. My final bid was 031917 end date 030217 (7 days). It was all entered and accepted so thank you Steven. Having said that, I probably would have forgotten to bid my vacation and been awarded JAN and FEB days. 

The January 2016- April 2017 Vacation Bidding Process is now open. The number of days you have available to bid can be found in CATCREW Option 15. If you believe there is a discrepancy with your 2016-17 Accrual, please contact InFlight Vacations at 1-800-327-0117, prompts 2, 5, 3.

Bids will open, close and be awarded on the following schedule:  
 
Tuesday, September 15th, 2015: Round 1 Vacation Bidding OPENS
  
Thursday, October 15th, 2015: Round 1 Vacation Bidding  CLOSES 
   
Friday, October 30th, 2015: Round 1 Awards POSTED

Any Results appearing in CBS(CLT/DCA/PHL/PHX) prior to this date may not be valid. 
  
Sunday, November 1st, 2015: Round 2 Vacation Bidding OPENS 

Sunday, November 15th, 2015: Round 2 Bidding CLOSES 

Monday, November 30th, 2015: Final Results POSTED 

Retirement Seminar

Back by popular demand is the Retirement Seminar that Patrick and Ron have agreed to come back for one more round if someone missed the opportunity. People that were able to attend enjoyed the info and their sense of humor. The meeting is one meeting that encompasses the time period of 11:00am-2:00pm on October 29, 2015 in the Charlotte airport auditorium above the food court. 

CLT Crew News – Thursday, September 24th

Finally, this Thursday, September 24th there will be a Crew News held at the Charlotte Training Center beginning @ 11:30am.  Please come ask the Company leaders your passionate questions.  Please join us if you can in giving them a grand CLT welcome full of questions that need to be answered.
