LGA Flight Attendants,

We are currently in DFW for the Company’s presentation of the updated FOI Timeline. To our dismay, the Company attempted to put out information regarding FOI before even presenting it to APFA. We were able to push that release until the end of the presentation and here are some of the things we learned:  

As many may have seen, the Company gave us a date of May 2018 for FOI.  They admit that this will require an aggressive approach on their part. We were also told that transfers between LAA and LUS bases will be possible in October 2018, provided there are openings. This means you will be able to transfer from a non PBS base to a PBS base. Their plan is to stagger PBS for LAA, beginning with DCA and moving forward base by base, smallest to largest.

As we continue to push back on PBS, please be reminded that it is part of the imposed contract. We will most likely never see the true value of this imposed contract as negotiated, as many aspects linked to compensation, including trip protection, are tied to FOI and PBS. We did ask the company to come up with some sort of compensation as Flight Attendants have lost money due to their lack of implementation. We will continue to update the membership with updates as we receive them.
