APFA Annual Convention 2018  Recap

The Board of Directors (BOD) approved the annual budget and received detailed briefings from the Joint Scheduling Implementation Committee (JSIC) and the APFA National Department Chairs and Representatives.

The BOD elected one Ad Hoc Member to the Executive Committee to fill the vacancy of Place #5 created when Paul Hartshorn Jr. was appointed as APFA National Contract Chair. Patrick Hancock will serve out the remainder of the current term ending on March 31, 2018. He was also elected to serve for the full 3-year term beginning April 1, 2018 and ending on March 31, 2021.

The BOD also appointed the members of the National Ballot Committee and the Budget Committee. Paul Hartshorn Jr. was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Budget Committee. That term will end on March 31, 2018.

National Officer Re-run Election

Ballots for the APFA National Officer re-run election will be mailed to all members on March 14, 2018. As a reminder, this is a mail ballot as well as a Department of Labor supervised election.

Please make sure you have updated your address not just on Jetnet, but with the APFA at [email protected]. Ballots must be returned, by mail, and received by 10:00am CT April 13, 2018.

For your vote to count, you must be dues current (no more than 60 days in dues arrears) by 5:00pm CT on April 9, 2018. You can contact the APFA dues department at [email protected] or 817-540-01081 ext. 8151.

IROPS Procedures Reminder

Section 10 of the Redbook pertains to scheduling. Please familiarize yourself with Section 10.J in regard to rescheduling.

• Had no hotel information prior to departure or arrival
• Told that they could not provide a hotel in base, mid sequence
