8.13.18 – (LAA/LUS) – Lori Bassani, APFA National President – Update on Scheduling System Issues

I wanted to give you a short update on our plan to address the system issues.

With the implementation of the new systems for LAA Flight Attendants, multiple violations continue to occur with TTS, ETB, and ROTA. Very soon, LUS Flight Attendants will be introduced to the same systems. We are asking all Flight Attendants who experience an issue to fill out and submit the Scheduling System Issues Report Form on the APFA website. Please provide details, as we need specific information to track and research your case, compile the data, and best assist our members.

Our members have demanded action. Last week, we met with Doug Parker and made it clear that they must fix these problems going forward and remedy members who have been harmed. Continued violations to our members’ contract and seniority will not be tolerated by your APFA Leadership. These violations necessitate the filing of Presidential Grievances. We are processing the information submitted by our members to determine the number of grievances required.
