9.10.18 – Update your info, Contract violations
The Company continues to violate our Contract by assigning probationary Flight Attendants to the purser/lead position. If you are on probation. and you have been assigned to the purser/lead position be advised that a qualified purser can and should take the position from you. Please document any contract violations and send this information to Raymond Lewis at [email protected], and Cathy Ryder [email protected].
It has come to our attention that AA has been caught illegally shaving flight time from flight attendant schedules. This has been reported to APFA and the Union. Always verify flight time and confirm the times against your bid sheets. If you discover a discrepancy screenshot it for documentation purposes. This is not happening by accident, until further advised, please print, at the beginning of all of your sequences, your HI3. At the end of your sequences reprint your HI3 and then compare it to the trip value on the bidsheet. The “adjusted’”flying times are always less than originally scheduled. If this happens to you send all documentation to Raymond Lewis at [email protected], and Cathy Ryder [email protected].
