9.20.18 – (LAA/LUS) – ROTA Error in LAX
ROTA Error in LAX
At 1941 CDT, September 19, 2018, the company notified APFA that ROTA did not process open sequences for LAX, and only awarded and assigned Standby shifts and RAPs.
There were 31 open sequences unassigned that were processed in the normal ROTD run. In accordance with JCBA Section 12.K.2.b, ROTD awards aggressive bids first, within your RAP, in seniority order. If the sequence or standby reports within two RAPs, it will be awarded to the earliest RAP first. Any sequences awarded from an aggressive bid will count towards RSVCOT (calling out of time).
The company has stated they will be identifying any Flight Attendants harmed and are entitled to pay protection. The company will be sending out a communication to the LAX reserve Flight Attendants.
