12.03.18 – Willingness-to-Serve for Base President, Base Vice President and BCR’s at All Bases

The National Ballot Committee (NBC) would like to advise all Flight Attendants that a Willingness-to-Serve (WTS), for Base President, Base Vice President and BCR’s, at all bases, will be posted on the APFA website, December 10, 2018.  The WTS must be mailed and received in the designated PO Box, listed on the form, by 10:00am CT January 8, 2019.

Those bases receiving more than 1 WTS for a position will have an election.  The elections will be conducted under the supervision of the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).  There will be a candidate meeting, conducted by the DOL Election Supervisor, on January 17, 2019 at 12:00 PM CT.  The meeting will be held at APFA, 1004 West Euless Blvd., Euless, TX 76040.  If a candidate cannot make the meeting in person, they will be able to participate by phone.  A letter with all pertinent information will be sent to each candidate, along with a candidate letter once the WTS’s have been retrieved.

For those bases which will be holding an election, ballots will be mailed to all members, at the base, January 28, 2019 and must be mailed back and received by February 27, 2019. The ballot count will commence immediately following the ballot retrieval.
