1.10.19 – Update on BCBS 2019 Medical Benefit ID Cards

You may have received a new ID card from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas with an effective date prior to Jan. 1, 2019.

The effective date on your card reflects the date of enrollment into your specific medical plan option. If you did not make any changes to your medical plan for 2019 you may see a prior year effective date. Rest assured your Medical Benefit ID card is correct and no further action is needed.
