Preserving the Staircase

Yesterday, APFA Historian Jennifer Brissette, National Safety/Security Chair Jeffrey Ewing, Retired APFA Historian Sally Prater, and Strategic Communications Specialist Josh Black visited the construction grounds of The Lodge at the American Airlines Training and Conference Center.

APFA is involved with the salvaging of the iconic staircase, stone wall, and medallion that holds great significance to the American Airlines Flight Attendants.

The stone wall and medallion have been disassembled and are being temporarily stored until it’s new home is completed at the C.R. Smith Museum. APFA visited the site to ensure that American is following their commitment to preserving our history.
