7.19.19 – Naloxone (Narcan) Onboard the Aircraft

In light of recent events involving opioid overdoses, specifically inflight, we would like to remind our Flight Attendant membership that Naloxone (Narcan), as well as EpiPen’s, have been added to the IMK onboard the fleet.

These have started to be added as of December 2018, and the medications will be noted on the items list for the IMK.

These medications may be used by an MD or DO in the event of a medical emergency. Other medical professionals may also administer these drugs – only as directed to do so by the Physician on Call.
