Greetings PHX FA’s!

We recently had our monthly Crew Planning and Allocations call for the September bid month and would like to share some details with our PHX members.

We have heard from our members in prior months regarding the amount of ODAN’s. We brought that to the company on our call in July for the August bid month and have gotten the ODAN level up to just over 13%.

Next we discussed our PHX Hawaii operation. We pointed out that by having a lot of our Hawaii flying going through LAX and how the reliability of the 757 recently, is harming our staffing levels as well as the operation to/from the islands. The company acknowledged the issue and is going to look to reduce the amount of our Hawaii flying passing through LAX.

We continue to re-visit the lengthy sit times during multi-day sequences especially when returning to base with a lengthy sit, then subsequently having to do the dreaded “victory lap” on the last day of your sequence.

And finally, we are still working on getting the amount 4 day sequences to the appropriate level. 4 day sequences are up slightly for September as you’ll see posted just below. We continue to push the company to get them down to 10% or less.
