Planned PDX Protests / Demonstrations
APFA is aware of planned protests and/or demonstrations in the Downtown Portland area for tomorrow, August 17th, 2019.
As a precautionary measure, all arriving crews scheduled to layover downtown for today and tomorrow’s operation have been relocated to airport area hotels.
Crewmembers are encouraged not to travel to the downtown area, avoiding protesters and demonstrations which may cause road closures and possibly a police presence.
For those of you scheduled to layover in PDX today or tomorrow, please check your hotel assignments for changes.
