11.22.19 – LGA Base Brief

Like past local APFA administrations Penelope and I have respected the intent of the NYC Base Facebook Page to be a resource for our fellow crew members, not a tool for politics, local or national. While this may seem, to some, that we are either ignoring the Facebook rumors or worse, condoning the rumored strife and turmoil. We are very much aware of the Facebook rumors and respond to any of them that we can and readily share that with the base.  As officers of APFA we know that the APFA Board of Directors is taking positive steps to respond to the legitimate concerns and dispel the rumors.  We hope to soon be able to share with you what we can about the steps that are being taken to once again unify our Union and its membership.

In the meantime, we are working diligently locally to represent you, our colleagues and members of APFA.
