Special Enrollment Opens Tomorrow

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, APFA recognizes that many of our Flight Attendants did not have the opportunity to sign up for AFLAC during the initial enrollment period. APFA and AFLAC have opened a special enrollment period for two weeks only! We are aware that in light of today’s circumstances, an accident plan, and a hospital plan can make a difference. AFLAC has agreed to this special enrollment with no exceptions or extensions to this two-week enrollment period.

• Special Enrollment Dates: Friday, April 24th until Friday, May 8th

*If you are using your cell phone or mobile device to enroll, please make sure that you are always scrolling all the way to the bottom end of each screen and all the way over for the “submit” or “next button” to ensure that you are enrolled.

Enrollment Specifics:

• Any active or inactive Flight Attendant may enroll
• The plans being offered are: 24-Hour Accident Insurance, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, and Dental.
• All of the plans are transferable at retirement
• Coverage will be offered to any applicant without regard to health status

Premium Payment Accommodations for THOSE ALREADY ENROLLED who may have missed their Payment: Due to COVID -19, AFLAC will not cancel your policy and is offering you a window of 60 days to catch up on all missed premiums to ensure the policies remain in force.
