May Pay Protections

After much discussion with the Company, APFA has been successful in securing additional pay protections above the current JCBA protections through a Letter of Agreement (LOA) for the May bid month. The pay protections for May will be similar to April, with your protected May guarantee based on your original PBS line value:

Please note: Your Pay Projection (PPROJ) will be raised to your guarantee after all trips flown are included in the PPROJ (similar to April). This includes ETB, TTS/UBL, PBS, carryover time, vacation time, paid sick time, etc. If your May PPROJ is higher than your May guarantee, no action will be needed. If your PPROJ is less than your May guarantee, add the value of lost time (scheduled vs. actual sequence value) due to cancelled flight(s) within a sequence and full sequence cancellation(s) in an amount up to, but not exceeding May guarantee.
