Important Reminders for Furloughed Flight Attendants

As the month draws to a close, please review the following actions:

Vacation Deferral/Payout

The deadline to select to have your accrued and scheduled vacation either deferred our paid out is Friday, September 25, at 1200 (CDT). If you do not make a selection, the vacation days will be deferred and will be available to be rebid on your return.

Jetnet > Flight Service > Furlough Vacation Option Election

If you select to have your vacation paid out, the accrued/scheduled vacation days will be paid on your October 15 paycheck.

Final Paycheck Action Items(LAX & SFO-based Flight Attendants Only)
If you are based at either LAX or SFO you are required by California state law to receive your final paycheck and furlough pay by paper check unless a separate authorization is received to continue pay by electronic check.

The deadline to complete the DocuSign selection form is Monday, September 28, 2020, at 2359 (CDT). If you do not submit the form, your final paycheck and any furlough pay will be sent via paper check. On Tuesday, September 29, 2020, your electronic banking information will be removed from the AA payroll systems.

Returning Company Property

More information will be coming soon on next steps in returning company property ahead of the furlough effective date.
