Airbus Seat Blocking

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, please remember that “C-blocking,” better known as “Seat Blocking” on the Airbus aircraft, is still in place. As a reminder, the seats being “C-blocked” as a result of COVID-19 are selected seats on Airbus aircraft directly in front of or adjacent to Flight Attendant jumpseats. These seats cannot be assigned. Please find the “C-blocked” seat chart here:

If a Flight Attendant should discover a passenger sitting in one of these seats before take-off, please verify the passenger’s seat number from their boarding pass. If the boarding pass shows they are in the correct seat, please immediately address it with the agent. If the agent is unable or unwilling to accommodate the request, please do the following:

1. Please obtain specific details
   • what type of 321?
   • which seats were not blocked?
   • in which market did this occur?
   • include flight number/city pair/date
2. Write a CERS Report as an “operational irregularity.”
3. Please submit an email to [email protected] with the specific details.
