GYE and UIO Cancelations

All,

I am pleased to report that all GYE and UIO cancelations will be marked as COVID cancelations, and will be pay protected, including premiums. The XI code for full sequences will be recoded to XF which is a paid removal.

You may double dip per JCBA Section 10.E.3.m. over these sequences via TTS and UBL only. Any trips picked up from the ETB on a pay protected calendar day will cancel out the pay protection per the Letter of Agreement and JCBA.

Additionally, ETB seat swaps over these pay protected trips will initially negate the pay protection. Crew Comp will have to manually restore the protection after it is brought to their attention. To avoid the tedious process of restoring the pay protection, it is recommended to only trade positions on the plane, and not through the ETB.
