Philadelphia Flight Attendants,

PHL Virtual Town Hall Meeting

The Vice President of the PHL station will be hosting a virtual town hall meeting with Network Planning for all team members who work in PHL on Wednesday, June 9th, at 4 pm EDT.

We have been assured there will be no big announcements on this town hall- it is mainly to address feedback and questions about the PHL Hub.

For call-in information, please check your mobile CCI message sent out from Flight Service (under medium priority) yesterday.

Reserve Rotation Information

The Company provided us some interesting information on our Reserve Rotation numbers that I would like to share with you. I am not sure if they will provide this information monthly, but I have requested it.

For July, these are the Flight Attendants eligible for each rotation:

• Straight Reserve: 0
• 1-on, 1-off Rotation: 501
• 1-on, 3-off Rotation: 1232

Meeting with your Flight Service Manager (FSM)

We are seeing an uptick in the number of FSM requested meetings with Flight Attendants for various reasons. If your FSM contacts you for any reason, you are entitled to Union representation. Many Flight Attendants are speaking with the Company over the phone and clearly not understanding the conversation. These conversations range from dependability/attendance, passenger concern letters, late to the aircraft, missed assignments such as required WBT’s and ‘Well for Work’, delays charged to the Flight Attendants, and many other issues.

We realize our lives are busy, and it is sometimes much easier to have a conversation on the phone than taking the time to set up a meeting; however, this is your work record, and we cannot care about it more than you do.

If you are called or notified by your FSM that they would like to discuss an issue with you, please exercise your right of representation. Please contact us to set up a meeting. The Union office is not on the property, so we do need advance notice.
