EVLOA RETURNS

November 1st, we will welcome back our first group of Flight Attendants who were on an EVLOA. PHL is expecting 140, with the remaining returning December 1st. We do not have the exact number of the December returns as some Flight Attendants have yet to clear. As soon as I have that number, I will communicate it to you.

NEW HIRES

As I communicated in the allocations brief, the company is hiring, and PHL will see a good number of new hires. The first few classes will be those Flight Attendants who were sent home at the pandemic’s start. We are certainly happy to welcome them back as well as the rest of the new hires. As soon as we know how many new hires will be joining us in PHL, I will share that information.

CUSTOM FORMS REQUIRED

The company sent out a mobile CCI message notification advising that all passengers must fill out Declaration Forms before arrival into PHL on all NIPD and IPD flights. This is because the APC Kiosks will be turned off. For additional information, please refer to the mobile CCI message under HIGH priority.

DEADHEADING REMINDERS

If you have a deadhead on the first or last leg of your trip, there is contract language in Section 16.G and 16.H that walks through the process on how to change the deadhead from your base to your commuting city.  See this hotline for more deadheading scenarios.

Also, to prevent a delay or cancellation, a deadheading Flight Attendant may be required to work the flight instead of deadheading. This assignment shall be in inverse seniority among the deadheading Flight Attendants on the segment unless a more senior Flight Attendant volunteers. (see JCBA Section 16.M).
