Hello, Chicago!

December is always a busy time of year, and this year is no exception. As we approach the end of the year, there are a few important topics and pieces of helpful information that we want to make you are aware of. Systemwide Picketing Continues!

There were well over 100 people from all different backgrounds who attended the Chicago informational picket held last month, thousands nationwide. Negotiations continue to move at a glacial pace. Between the last informational picket, and we when we get the contract we deserve, there will be more and more unity events allowing us a public forum to express our frustrations, and tell the company we are ready!

Banked Point

The recent holiday incentive period was November 20th-November 27th. If you worked a trip, or served all your reserve assignments with no chargeable absences in this time, you should have received your incentive point by now.

To check your MyView: Jetnet -> Flight Service -> MyView -> Click the number next to “banked points” to see the period in which the most recent point was earned. Any questions or concerns regarding the incentive point, follow up with the Chicago AFSM joint email as soon as possible. November Holiday Pay

On December 12th, the company communicated via CCI that they are in the final stages of processing the hours owed for the November incentive period. They are targeting to have a special check processed by the end of next week which should be visible in ePays on/around December 23rd. When this statement is visible, if you notice anything you feel to be incorrect, immediately file a Direct Connect to bring the issue forward to the appropriate departments.

Jury Duty

You might have seen a recent hotline from the APFA Contract and Scheduling department alerting our members to the Company’s disregard of the JCBA with regards to Jury Duty. Keep this in mind in case you are summoned to Jury Duty and wrongfully denied your contractual compensation. If you experience this violation, please reach out to one of us to ensure we file a grievance on your behalf.

APFA Website Revamp

The new and improved APFA website was is now live. The new website is more user friendly, more organized and mobile friendly. You should have received an email with a temporary password. If you are having trouble logging in to APFA, please reach out to [email protected]. It is important to have access to all the information and resources available to you though this website.
