March 2023 PBS Bid Award Summary & Mis-Award Process

Each month, the APFA Contract & Scheduling Departments send out a copy of the PBS Bid Award Summary we receive from the company following the completion of the PBS run. The PBS Bid Award Summary provides great information, but its presentation makes it challenging to find what you may be looking for.  ​​

APFA Contract & Scheduling Departments have been looking at ways to make all the information to us more relevant and presented in a way that assists in understanding PBS results for each base.​ We are putting the data in a different format and separating the information for each base. We hope you find this helpful and easier to follow.

The March 2023 PBS Award Files will be available to view on the APFA website on or around Sunday, February 19.

PBS Award File Video Tutorials are located on the Scheduling page of the APFA website. The path to the files is APFA.org > Departments > Scheduling > PBS > PBS Award File Video Tutorials. The six tutorial video topics include:

• Understanding the PBS Award Files: An Introduction
• Did that trip really go senior?
• Can I hold LHR out of New York?
• Can I hold Speaker trips at another base?
• What trips are FAs around my seniority holding at my base?
• What trips am I likely to hold at another base?

Any Lineholder or Reserve who has an inquiry or believes they may have received a mis-award must submit a PBS Award Challenge on Crew Portal > Links > Support Tab, no later than Friday, February 24 at 1200 (CT).
